Maya Hawke and her brother, Levon Hawke, turned heads with a rare and stylish joint appearance during Milan Fashion Week, proving that fashion runs just as strongly in the family as acting talent.
The siblings stepped out together for Prada’s Menswear Fall/Winter presentation on Saturday, January 18, effortlessly commanding attention as they arrived hand in hand. Maya, 27, embodied understated elegance in a crisp white blouse paired with coordinating above-the-knee shorts, which she styled with a gray oversized coat draped casually over her shoulders. The Stranger Things actress completed the chic ensemble with classic loafers and a petite handbag from the luxury fashion house, striking the perfect balance between polished and relaxed.
Levon, 24, matched his sister’s fashion-forward energy with a refined yet modern look of his own. The actor wore a rich blue turtleneck layered under a chocolate-brown leather jacket, finishing the outfit with sleek black slacks. Together, the siblings looked every bit the stylish duo as they made their way into the show, marking one of their few public appearances side by side.
Maya and Levon are the children of Hollywood heavyweights Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, who were married from 1998 to 2005. While both parents have gone on to build blended families, the bond between their eldest children has remained remarkably strong. Ethan, 55, also shares daughters Clementine and Indiana with his wife, Ryan Shaw Hughes Hawke, while Uma, 55, is mom to daughter Luna from her previous relationship with Arpad Busson.
Despite growing up in the spotlight, Maya and Levon have managed to maintain an especially close sibling relationship. Levon previously opened up about their bond in a September 2024 interview with Us Weekly, describing his sister as his closest confidant.
“She’s my best friend in the world,” Levon said at the time, gushing over Maya. “We spend 90 percent of every day on the phone with each other.”
The actor also revealed that working alongside his sister on screen is a dream he hopes will soon become a reality. “I would love to star in a movie with Maya one day,” Levon shared. “Please anybody listening to this, finance that movie, please. I would not love anything more.”
Like his famous parents and sister, Levon has steadily followed a path in acting and has already begun to carve out a name for himself. He appeared in the 2024 film Blink Twice, a project that earned enthusiastic support from his family, though not everyone was quite old enough to watch.

“They loved it,” Levon joked, referencing his parents’ reactions. “I don’t know if the whole family has seen it. I’ve got three little sisters that really should not be watching that movie.” He added that Ethan “loved it,” Uma was “super proud,” and Maya was especially excited. “[She] freaked out over it and was really happy,” he said.
Ethan echoed that pride in a separate interview with Us Weekly earlier this month, praising Maya’s dedication to her craft and her success on Stranger Things. Speaking at the Stella Adler Foundation’s January 9 benefit reading of All the President’s Men, Ethan reflected on how meaningful it has been to watch his daughter thrive.
“I believe in the Stella Adler Foundation because the cultivation of performance as an art form is important to me,” Ethan explained. “And I see it reflected in Maya. She went to Juilliard. She’s the real thing. They’ve crushed it with Stranger Things, and I’m proud of her.”
Maya’s family was especially invested in the final moments of the hit Netflix series, staying up late on New Year’s Eve to find out where her beloved character, Robin Buckley, landed in the series finale. Ethan later spoke about the experience on The Late Show Starring Stephen Colbert, admitting that watching the show hit differently when it started his daughter.
“A lot of people in America were watching Stranger Things, but not everybody was watching their daughter with their siblings sitting next to them,” he said. “We were invested. I have to say, hats off. I thought Maya did a great job. I thought the whole show did a great job.”
Ethan is equally proud of Levon’s growing list of accomplishments. The actor recently made waves on Broadway, starring in Ibsen’s Ghosts, and has continued to expand his résumé with upcoming projects like Marty Supreme.
“Levon was on Broadway this year,” Ethan shared. “I’m proud of them for so many reasons that have nothing to do with fame or success. They’re wonderful people, and they’re going to find their own way.”
With successful careers, a deep sibling bond and now a fashionable moment at Milan Fashion Week under their belts, Maya and Levon Hawke continue to prove they’re a powerful duo, both on and off the red carpet.
